The Concept

The aim of the Alpes Open Tour is to focus on the best aspects of cycle sport - a friendly atmosphere, personal performances within a group and sharing a common passion, between amateur participants and professional riders. Participants complete the stages at their own pace.

Legendary routes of the Alps

The route of the Alpes Open Tour includes some of the most beautiful roads in the Alps, made famous thanks to prestigious cycling events such as the Tour de France and Critérium du Dauphiné.

The participants are given the opportunity to test themselves and discover, or rediscover, the most beautiful passes of the legendary routes of the Alps.

With professional riders

Several professional and former professional riders took part in the 2010 and 2011 editions of the Alpes Open Tour, including: Bernard Thévenet, Patrice Halgand, Jean-Christophe Péraud, Sylvain Calzati, Nicolas Portal, Davide Vigano, David Moncoutié, Mickaël Buffaz, Freddy Bichot, Ludovic Turpin, Thierry Hupond, Rémi Cusin...

Alpes Open Tour rider pack

A 5-day all-inclusive package with accommodations (6 nights) from 12/08 evening to 18/08 morning is available.

This offer includes:

All filling and registration fees (limited to 80 participants maximum);
Stages entirely signed;
"Individual accident and physical injuries" insurance;
Daily presence of professional riders;
Medical assistance (equipped ambulance crew + doctor);
Mechanical support booth at the departure/arrival of each stage;
Technical assistance vehicules during the trip;
Minivan following the last participant + bike trailer;
Two feed stations (food + beverages);
Snack upon arrival of each stage;
Dinner with professional riders every evening;
An Alpes Open Tour gift;
6 nights in 2- or 3-star hotels or residences (from 12/08 evening to 18/08 morning);
6 nutritional athlete breakfasts at the hotel;

€1950 in a single bedroom or €1550 in a twin bedroom

2-star Pack - 6 nights in a 2-star hotels or residence (last night in a 3-star hotel):
€1550 in a single bedroom or €1150 in a twin bedroom

Shuttle to and from Geneva airport: + €120 per person

The Alpes Open Tour is a cycling event that takes place in the Alps. At the heart of the Alps, participants are given the opportunity to discover, or rediscover, the Alps routes, made famous thanks to prestigious cycling competitions such as the Critérium du Dauphiné and the Tour de France.On the legendary routes of the Alps, amateur participants are accompanied by professional and former professional riders.
